Camps & Clinics Accident Insurance

We offer basic coverage for both sports and non-sports related activities for adults and youths. Offerings provided under this program include important liability protection for camp or clinic operators, including employees and volunteers, and liability claims arising from its operations.

Safety of the participants are always a primary focus of any camp facility but accidents do happen. We at Wellfleet want to make sure you have the protection needed for your participants and guests to limit any burden of any extra medical expenses that may occur from an unforeseen accident. Wellfleet’s Accident Insurance coverage during any scheduled and sponsored activities will help provide that peace of mind.

Eligibility for Plans

Sport or Non-Sport camps and Day or Resident camps are all eligible. All registered participants (age 18 & under) of a Day or Resident Camp are covered. Volunteer Staff are also eligible for coverage. Coverage is automatic for all participants.

Basic Day Camp Coverage

Basic Day Camp Coverage limits available from $5,000 to $25,000 and there are Primary or Full Excess options to choose. The Full Excess option pays benefits for eligible expenses that are in excess of benefits paid to the insured by any other health care plan. If no other health care plan exists, benefits will be payable like primary coverage.

Resident & Overnight Camps

Resident/Overnight Camps have an option to add an Emergency Sickness benefit. The sickness coverage would be only for eligible expenses resulting directly from a participant’s emergency illness and limited to $1,000.
